How to add API Keys
An API key safely connects your exchange account to Skalpy, allowing you to view balances and place orders from a single interface without logging into the exchange directly. Please note that activating 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) is mandatory to add API keys.
Creating an API Key on Binance
Log in to your Binance account and navigate to API Management.
Select Create API, choose the System generated API keys option, and proceed.
Enter a label for your key and complete security verification.
Under API restrictions, select Edit restrictions and enable required trading permissions.
Typically, this includes Spot & Margin Trading, Futures, and Options. Keep withdrawals disabled.Configure IP Access.
Binance blocks trading from unrestricted IPs if Default Security Controls are active. Uncheck the box of this mode in API Management, then set IP access to Unrestricted. Alternatively, to restrict access for mobile use, whitelist your device's static IP.Copy both the API Key and Secret Key.
Store them securely and never reveal them to anyone.
Adding API Keys to Skalpy
Open the Balances section.
Press the add icon (+) to connect a new API key.
Paste your Binance API Key and Secret Key into the corresponding fields.
Press Save.
Managing Multiple Keys
You can manage multiple API keys for the same exchange. All added keys appear in a list within the Balance section.
Main Key: Only one API key can be active at a time. The first added key becomes the main key by default.
Switching Keys: To change the active key, select Set as Main using the list icon or the context menu. The list visually highlights the main key.
Deleting Keys: You can delete a key through the context menu. If you delete the main key, the next oldest key becomes the main key.
